Job Description :
Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for developing new partnerships with K-12 school districts and other private schools to provide Champions’ services and programs to the school community.
Essential Functions:
· Develop strategies and set goals to achieve New Business Development key objectives.
· Create best in class sales presentations and written proposals. Respond to RFPs/questionnaires from prospects or consultants.
· Present sales proposals and manage potential client relationships professionally and independently.
· Network with potential clients and partner with Regional Managers to create new sales leads.
· Participate in marketing activities, including trade gatherings and conferences.
· Provide information and feedback on financial models of all new business being brought forward for approval.
· Negotiate contract terms that are consistent with client expectations and Knowledge Learning Corp. development standards.
· Convert sales leads to achieve sales goals
· Facilitate the development process of approved sites.
· Creates and implements territory sales plan for both fee based and federally funded programs.
· Calls on new targeted districts to gain contracts for new services
· Proficient in selling in a complex, political and long-term sales process
· Negotiates contract terms after receiving authorization
· Accountable for achieving new business goals and strategic sales plan
· Helps prepare solution based proposals, delivers presentations to key district personnel, conducts prompt client follow-up
· Works with KLC operations, education and finance teams to bring on new business
· Retains strong client relationships to leverage new business opportunities.

Working Conditions:
Frequent air travel with overnight stays is required. Work is normally performed in an office environment. Travel may be required by car, plane or other modes of transportation.
Experience and Education:
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience necessary.
· Experience providing sales strategy and solutions in the K-12 environment highly preferred.
· Strong existing network of applicable contacts highly desirable.

· Ability to develop and successfully articulate company/product vision both internally and externally required.
· Ability to develop internal processes and operations to support new business initiatives required.
· Demonstrated skills in designing and implementing successful plans and processes to get new business required.

· Proficient in the use of an office computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
