ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST

JPMorgan Wealth Management is seeking an Analyst to join the Client Support team to support the Alternative Investments Group ("AIG"). The AIG identifies, performs due diligence on, and markets alternative investments such as private equity, hedge funds and real estate to the clients within the Private Bank, Private Wealth Management and Private Client Services globally.
As an Analyst, you will work closely with a wide variety of teams (including Front Office, Middle Office, Investor Relations, Due Diligence, Risk, Portfolio Management) to support the implementation of strategic business initiatives and process enhancements. You will be expected to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity with respect to client information.
In particular, your RESPONSIBILITIES will include the following:
* Coordinate with offshore teams on core and ad-hoc reporting and process; train offshore teams on new processes
* Support various initiatives to re-engineer and document process and controls to identify core business risks
* Update weekly team metrics
* Project management support including setting agendas, meeting notes, project plans, following up on open items
* Maintain issues log and resolution monitoring
* Ad hoc analysis and presentations
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High attention to detail
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to set priorities, monitor own workload to meet aggressive deadlines.
* Ability to multi-task, handle several high impact projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
* Positive attitude and a good team player
* Microsoft proficiency required; Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint required
* Background in Wealth Management or Alternative Investments a plus
* Applicant should have 1-3 years experience
* Bachelors degree from an accredited, high quality institution is required
