Our Subcontracts team is looking for a results oriented individual with effective communication skills to serve as an Outsourcing Manager. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage ITT Electronic Systems Outsourcing Subcontracts, and will be responsible for outsourcing subcontract procurements for the division. Annual purchases $35M - $50M.
This position manages complex outsourcing tasks/teams - Establish and maintain supplier team environment.
Strong interface with Suppliers/Partners, Business Area Teams, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality and other functional COE's.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years experience
Knowledge of purchasing techniques, government procurement regulations and procedures, company purchasing and subcontracting policies, contract law.
Hands on management style and working knowledge of Procurement process.
Strong Program Management/Procurement skills to assess status and risk, generate recovery plans, meet cost and schedule commitments, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Excellent communications skills with senior corporate management, suppliers, and employees. Good listener and team player.
Ability to read drawings; familiar with MRP; knowledge of FAR; extensive market research knowledge; strong team leader; process oriented.
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
