As a critical member of the Honeywell team, the Field Device Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth of Honeywell commercial HVAC Field Device control products through multiple channels while working directly with contractor customers. Our extensive line of field devices includes actuators, dampers, variable frequency drives and water products.

The Field Device Sales Specialist will cover northeastern USA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Achieve annual sales and profitability targets via sales of field devices to Alerton, Trend and Honeywell contractors
* Execute marketing and sales programs for territory growth.
* Consultant Engineer Sales Calls.
* End User Sales Calls.
* Provide field device product training to Alerton, Trend and Honeywell contractors.
* Create and execute annual sales plan for the territory leveraging internal Alerton, Trend and Honeywell resources to maximize sales growth.
* Establish and build strong contractor relationships.

These positions can be located within the territory and require 50% travel.

Environmental Combustion and Controls (ECC) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). ECC provides integrated product solutions in heating and heating processes, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration, air purification, zoning, humidification, air conditioning, water controls and processes, electrical devices and systems, lighting control, switches, sensors and controllers. Our technologies are found in more than 150 million homes, 10 million buildings, and a multitude of manufacturing plants around the world. Customers include original equipment manufacturers, commercial, homeowners, contractors, retail, trade building managers, consulting engineers and distributors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum of 3 years direct outside/external customer sales experience (working with new and existing accounts).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors degree, preferred.
* Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful client relationships and territory plans.
* Commercial HVAC experience is highly preferred.
* Influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix- team environment.
* A diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Computer literate.
